UPLOAD GUIDE
Prepare a reliable YouTube upload batch
A practical checklist for reviewing local video files, metadata, channel permissions, and upload results before publishing at scale.
1. Organize the source files
Use clear file names and confirm that every file opens correctly before adding it to the workspace. Keep the final aspect ratio and resolution appropriate for the destination channel. Remove duplicate or outdated exports so the wrong creative is not uploaded by mistake.
2. Review titles and descriptions
Each title should accurately describe its video and avoid misleading claims. Descriptions should add useful context rather than repeat keywords. Shared text can be applied across a batch, but review each item when the creative, market, language, or offer differs.
3. Choose visibility and playlists
Use Private while a video still needs internal review, Unlisted when it should only be accessible by link, and Public when it is ready for the channel audience. Confirm the target playlist before starting the upload queue.
4. Authorize the correct Google account
The Google account must have access to the intended YouTube channel. Read the authorization screen before continuing. Upload Studio only receives the permissions needed for the workflow and cannot access channels outside the authorized account.
5. Check every result
After the queue finishes, review the YouTube link, video ID, upload time, and status for every file. Retry failed items only after reading the error. Export the CSV when you need a durable handoff or reporting record.
